Students are welcome to schedule meetings to discuss coursework, examinations, thesis supervision, and academic counseling. Companies can arrange consultations regarding research collaborations, joint projects, internship, seminars, or technology transfer opportunities.

Meeting Location

Where will the meeting take place?

I am usually based at the UNIMORE AI Center, located in Building MO28 on Via P. Vivarelli in Modena. As the UNIMORE AI Center does not yet have a badge reader (one will be installed soon), access to the building is currently via the main doorphone at MO28. Press the phone icon (✆) and dial 8787 to gain entry. Once inside, you will find my workstation on the first floor: go upstairs and follow the corridor to the new section of the building. Once inside the AI Center, my workstation is at the end of the corridor, the last door on the left (Room 021).

What should I do if I cannot find you in the lab?

If I am not in the lab, I am likely in my office on the second floor of Building MO27, also on P. Vivarelli Street in Modena. Upon arrival, use the doorphone by pressing the phone icon (✆) and dialing 8787 to gain entry. Should you find that I am not in either location, please contact me at +39 059 205 8787.

Can I request a remote meeting?

While I prefer in-person meetings, I understand the need for flexibility. If you require a remote meeting, please inform me by sending an email specifying this preference, and we will make the necessary arrangements.

Booking and Rescheduling

How many appointments can I book?

To ensure fair access for all students and colleagues, you may book only one appointment per week. If you need to discuss multiple topics, please consolidate them into a single meeting or contact me via email for special arrangements.

What if our meeting needs to extend beyond the scheduled time?

The allocated times for meetings are designed to accommodate most discussions. However, if our conversation requires additional time, we may need to schedule a subsequent meeting to ensure that all topics are thoroughly addressed.

What if I need to reschedule our meeting?

You will find a cancellation link in the confirmation email that allows you to cancel your appointment. If you encounter any issues or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out via email.

There are no available time slots and I need to meet with you urgently. What should I do?
